How do I book an open studio session?

Head to the Book page: pick a date on the calendar, an arrival time, and fill in the form. It's confirmed straight away, and you receive an email with your cancellation code.

How many people can I book for?

From 1 to 10 people per booking. Bigger group? Write to claire@atelierartichaut.fr, or have a look at the private events page.

Do I need an account to book?

Accepted Answer

No account needed. Your email is enough to receive the confirmation and the cancellation code.

How do I know my booking is confirmed?

You receive a confirmation email right after submitting the form. Nothing after 5 minutes? Check your spam folder, or write to claire@atelierartichaut.fr.

How much guidance do I get during the session?

Accepted Answer

Someone from the team settles you in, shows you the first moves, then checks in on you during the session. It's included in the price, no extra charge. And if you'd rather create in your own bubble, just say so: we'll only come back to refill your coffee.

What if everyone wants the same craft?

We have enough materials for several people to practise the same craft at once, so in the vast majority of cases there's no problem. At peak times there can be a few minutes' wait for a shared tool. Coming specifically for one craft? Tell us in your booking message and we'll set the materials aside.

Which crafts are available?

Watercolour, drawing, printmaking, embroidery and mosaic. You pick your craft when you arrive, depending on the day's mood: nothing is locked in at booking.

None. Open studio sessions welcome every level, from complete beginner to regular. We're here to guide you if needed.

Do I need to bring materials?

No, everything is provided and included in the price. Come empty-handed, leave with your creation.

What are the prices?

Like at a restaurant, each craft has its own à la carte price: €22 to €30 for 2 hours, and that's the full price: materials and basic surface included, nothing to add. On site, you can treat yourself to an extra surface (a tee, a trivet…) as an add-on, or bring your own: a pair of jeans to embroider, for example. Workshops have their own prices, shown on the booking page.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. For an open studio session, you can cancel anytime. For a workshop, cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the session, with an automatic full refund. Under 48 hours it's no longer possible: write to claire@atelierartichaut.fr if needed.

Question 12

How do I cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

Click “Cancel my booking” in your confirmation email: the link takes you to the cancellation page, already filled in with your code. One click to confirm, and you receive an email validating the cancellation (and the refund where applicable).

What happens if Artichaut cancels the session?

If we have to cancel (force majeure, not enough participants), you are refunded in full and notified by email as soon as possible.

What are the opening hours?

Wednesday to Friday: 2pm-10pm. Saturday and Sunday: 10am-8pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Can I privatise the space for an event?

Yes, up to 20 people: birthdays, hen parties, team building and the like. Go through the private events form, we reply within 24 hours.
