Who's « we »?
A family affair.
A sculptor mum, a ceramist dad and brother, who even opened his own ceramics café in Bordeaux. We grew up in the family ceramics studios, where we saw the same thing every time: people come to learn, sure, but above all to feel proud of themselves and have a good time. Artichaut is what we wanted to open up to everyone, on rue Lamarck.

What is Artichaut?+
Artichaut is a creative café in Montmartre, at 82 rue Lamarck (Paris 18e). You grab a coffee or a drink and practise an art à la carte: watercolour, drawing, lino printing, embroidery or mosaic. All levels, no yearly membership.
Do I need to book? And to know how to draw?+
Neither. Booking is recommended to be sure of a table, but you can drop in like at a restaurant. And all levels are welcome: we're here to guide you.
How much is it?+
Each craft has its own price, €22 to €30 for 2 hours, shown on its page: that's the full price, materials and basic surface included. On site, extra surfaces (tee, trivet…) are offered as add-ons. Workshops, themed or artist-led, each have their own price, €24 to €35 depending on the session, and private groups start at €35 per person. Coffee and treats are extra.
Is it a good idea for a date or with friends?+
Yes. Come solo, on a date or with friends: it's a perfect outing to create together over a coffee. For bigger groups (birthday, hen party, team building), you can book the whole place, up to 20 people.
Can I just come for a coffee?+
Of course. We're a real café: settle in, work, chat, without making anything at all. We just hope the place inspires you, one way or another.

Are children welcome?+
Of course! The Wednesday workshop for ages 6-12, the Sunday parent & child duo from age 3, and creative birthdays: it all books online on the kids workshops page.

Accessibility: one step at the entrance, with a portable ramp available (let us know you're coming and we'll have everything ready). Inside, everything is on one level, accessible toilet included, and we serve at the table. Guide and assistance dogs welcome.
